Dr. Shekhar Salkar

Dr. Shekhar Salkar is a Consultant in the Department of Surgical Oncology at Manipal Hospital, Panaji. He has over three decades of experience in performing onco-surgeries to remove solid tumours. He is registered at the Goa Medical Council. Dr Salkar is a member of prestigious associations including, Indian Medical Association, Goa Cancer Society and the Medical Council of India. He has been the Chairman of the Goa Medical Council and is the President of the GOKARMA Oncology Association and GOKARMA Oncology Medical Trust. Dr Salkar is the General Secretary of the National Organization for Tobacco Eradication, India.

Dr Shekhar holds an MBBS degree, MS in General Surgery and a Fellowship in Oncology from The International College of Surgeons in Oncology.
